Fri, 22 September 2006 Episode 3 (Bringing in the Experts) looks at Zen 2 Wow idea #213...Better to pay an expert plumber than pay an expert carpet cleaner too. The notion behind this idea is that we don't do everything well. Inherently we know this, but we don't always listen to ourselves. Typically, when we try to take on projects or assignments by ourselves, without the proper knowledge and/or technical skills, we could be setting ourselves up for failure. I share a story about getting this podcast off the ground, as well as a "ah ha" moment I learned from on of my clients. Sat, 9 September 2006 Well, my "soft launch" for the podcast has gone very well. I have received a great deal of constructive and positive feedback from friends, family and associates -- thank you to all.
Zen 2 Wow idea #230 simply states...Cultivate and attitude of gratitude. So, I just want to publicly thank several individuals who were particularly instrumental in helping me get Zen 2 Wow -- The Podcast up and running. So, in no particular order... 1) Luria Petrucci (aka Cali Lewis at www.geekbrief.tv): Your story, guidance, inspiration, and suggestions (all while you should have been focused on your own packing) put the wheels in motion. 2) CC Chapman: We've never met, but your messages about consumer driven media on the Managing The Gray podcast (www.managingthegray.com) have been influential. 3) Ardath Berliant (www.contractcreatives.com): A little arm twisting goes a long way. Thanks for your friendship and support. 4) James Negley and Bruce Lorie (www.nsmedia.net): You were there when I needed someone to "hold my hand" and show me which buttons to push. Also, thank you to Terry for the voice over. 5) John Schwarberg and Rick Keith (www.iwsgroupinc.com): Thanks for providing a reality check and keeping me in line when I tired to go off course (more than once). And to everyone else who has support me throughout this process -- May the Journey Continue. Rob Engelman Podcasting at www.zen2wow.com

Mon, 4 September 2006 Episode 2 (Point of View) is the 1st Zen 2 Wow podcast that embodies the true spirit of what these podcasts are all about -- exploring an idea from That Was Zen, This Is Wow and applying it to an everyday situation. Point of View looks at how others view us. I talk about a banker who spends time talking about "dead presidents" vs. why a prospect should consider his bank. Plus, I toss out the idea of becoming a business doctor... Finally...ask questions, lots of questions (listen to find out more) If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at rob@engelmanmanagement.com.
